Rhonda Kennedy is a filmmaker, foodie, and content creator best known for her work on the award-winning web series Cheetah in August and Purple Panties Podcast by Zane. Rhonda’s been steady in her creative pursuits since 2012, viewing all failed opportunities as the Universe simply re-ordering her steps.

In 2015, she landed a job as a Staff Writer for Bawn TV – a platform dedicated to creating quality queer content. In her next move to nine27 Entertainment, she was quickly promoted from Writer’s Assistant to Producer, where she honed her skills in big-picture thinking, budgeting, and negotiation. Currently, Rhonda creates content on YouTube and is in post-production on Still Waters Never Crash, a documentary that follows one woman’s resilient journey from foster care to Ph.D.

Tweetable Quotes:

“It’s really important to really be open to your life and where you’re supposed to go and not resist the things that come up because you never know what would come out of it.” – Rhonda Kennedy

“I think [content creation] is really about finding what works for you because we’re all so different in what we’re creating. You know what I’m saying? Like, everyday posting may work really well for somebody else, but then it may not work so well for someone else.” – Rhonda Kennedy
